Price: $2.99
Weight: 10 oz.
Color / Appearance: Round, yellow corn chips with a few black specks scattered around the chip. They have a pretty standard appearance for tortilla chips.
Crunch: Very good crunch with these chips. These chips possess a great structure and strength for dipping. These would be a great chip for some dip, salsa or even a thick Guacamole. The lack of corners on the chips reduces the chance of breakage during the dipping process, I believe. As a corner would create a weak point and create the need for fishing pieces out of the dip. This would be unwanted in a group setting.
Flavor: These chips actually taste damn good. Most of the time I would buy pain tortilla chips to use for dipping into something. You could definitely eat these chips un-dipped if you were in a pinch.
Chip Quality: Excellent quality. There are mostly intact circular chips in this bag.
Overall: These are good chips. I really feel that if you are a frugal person. And you are willing to take a little time in the snack food aisle of your supermarket. There are great tortilla chips out there at great prices. Most people just grab a bag of Frito-Lay and out the door they go. But for a couple of bucks less you can get into a bag of these chips and have just as good of a time.
