Price: $2.99
Weight: 4.5oz.
Color / Appearance: Golden colored, rectangular potato puff - like snacks about an inch and a half long and abut a quarter inch square. Shaped very much like a french fry.
Crunch: You cant compare the crunch that these snacks have with a potato chip, because they are a puff. But as puff go I would say that they have a decent crunch.
Flavor: Unusual. A bit of potato flavor, but that is mostly overpowered by a Parmesan cheese type of flavoring.
Chip Quality: These are a puff and not a chip. But as puffs go the quality here is quite good. Most of the puffs in this bag were intact when I opened the bag.
Overall: The first thing that I have to say about this snack is that I wasn't expecting them to be flavored. For some reason when I read the label and saw the word "original" in the title I thought they would be plain salted puffs. So when I opened the bag and smelled the cheesy smell coming out I was wondering what was going on. I cant really tell you that I was crazy about the flavoring that they put on these. I just felt like it didn't have that addictive type of taste that I want to find in a great salty snack. That said, they are made with great ingredients, and they are baked which reduces their fat and grease content. They are a great snack to send your kid to school with as they are on the healthier side of snacks.
