Price: $4.99
Weight: 15 oz.
Color / Appearance: Very light golden colored rippled chips. These chips are smallish in size but not overly so. There are just no mammoth chips in the bag.
Crunch: These chips have a decent crunch. However, they could be a bit sturdier in structure. This would be important if you were going to use them for dipping.
Flavor: Decent fried potato flavor. But, not a very flavorful chip if taken on merit. They definitely need a bowl of dip in the nearby vicinity.
Chip Quality: Decent. But there are quite a few broken chips in the bag. Going by my estimate at least 40% of the chips are broken in this bag.
Overall: These chips are okay. I would recommend picking up a container of dip on your way out of the store. They just aren’t a stand-alone snack. And then if you take into account their weak structure. They just really aren’t ideal. I really don’t like seeing little broken crumbs of other people’s chips in the dip. I don’t like that phenomenon. When I think about it a little bit these chips remind me of the handful of chips that will often be put onto your plate at a lunch counter type restaurant when you have ordered a sandwich. I am usually disappointed to see them there because I almost always prefer fries in that scenario.
